Upcoming events for October and November

Happy Fall! And Fall in Itinere means cooler weather, hot cider and hot chocolate trucks as well as an uptick in things happening. I want to give y'all a bit of time to prepare, plan and anticipate what's going to be happening this Fall.

On October 1 there's going to be some trouble with haunted objects (there will be no mingle; it's up to y'all to do what you want with it). What does that mean? Think Christine, creepy dolls and maybe knives. It can also be something as mundane as your fridge is haunted and refuses to keep your food cold, or randomly opens and throws cans of beer at you. Any object can become haunted. Have fun with it. By October 20th, the Powers that Be will have figured out the hauntings (if your character hasn't figured out their own personal haunting by then) and inanimate objects become absolutely normal again. Itinere will be free to have a normal Halloween and will even host a carnival (I'll put a mingle up for this).

Unfortunately, that's not where the drama and potential danger end. On November 1st, the sea will start spewing forth carnivorous water horses (inspired by this) and these horses are hungry and tired of eating fish. Residents are most likely to find the horses at the beach; however, some of the hungrier horses will make their way into town. There will be a mingle for this. The horses will disappear back into the ocean on November 15th so that Itinere can have a nice Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving will not have a mingle or a carnival or anything like that. It's all up to y'all.

Character death for these events are not permanent. If it's their first time dying, they can come back within 24 hours. If they've died before in Itinere, the time 'dead' increases each time they've died by 24 hours. This works on the honor system.
